The racking installation at Ampac, Winnellie in Northern Territory consisted of forty bays of Selective Pallet Racking and eleven bays of Heavy Duty Cantilever Racks. The installation of the project spanned over eight weeks. The accommodation of racking modifications throughout the installation of the project meant no further downtime.

The company has been growing since 1974 to include a larger customer base. They operate from a significant number of countries including Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Africa and Asia.

Abbott Storage Systems was the provider of racking and storage to Ampac in their Perth and Brisbane branches. After the successful completion of the racking and storage of Ampac's warehouses in Perth WA and Brisbane QLD. The next focus was on the racking layout design and installation for the Northern Territory branch. Abbott Storage System's were given the opportunity to quote on the warehouse racking layout drawings. There were many communication sessions between Abbott and Ampac, covering details of the project. Knowing Abbott's previous ability, Ampac chose Abbott as the warehouse racking provider once again. This time supplying Selective Pallet Racking and Heavy Duty Cantilever Racks.
